The current situation on the border is incomparably calm over the last two years. This is what Spokesman of the President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic David Babayan said during a briefing.

“The situation on the border is normal. Everything is in comparison. We can’t compare the situation now and the situation during the days of the four-day war because that was a large-scale war. The situation is calmer now than it was in 2014,” David Babayan said.

Babayan noted that firings and ceasefire violations are recorded, but they can’t be compared to the firings and ceasefire violations of the past two years in terms and quantity and quality.
