Syrian-Armenian inventor: “My great desire is to see Armenia become so rich that it is able to help other countries”

Garabed Jogarian, one of the participants of the “New Perspectives for Syrian-Armenians” exhibition held at Yerevan Expo exhibition complex, presented his invention called “HYDRO TORNADO DRIVE with H2O”, which took him years to create and attracted many visitors’ attention at the exhibition.

In an interview with Hayern Aysor, Garabed talked about the advantages of his invention, what can be saved and the appropriateness of the invention.

“I had been thinking about this invention since I was 14 in chemistry class at school. It had been on my mind since 2001, but I officially registered it last year. I have no professional background. I created this thanks to hard work and the knowledge that I gained at school. Many old and experienced scholars (physics, chemists) of the Soviet era don’t believe that this invention is real and will work. So, I invite them and show them how the device works. It is a perfected device, and the result is wonderful. In Syria I was doing what my ancestors had done, and that is making rubber high pressure tubes. Besides that, I was also working on my invention that only my family knew about. Everyone knows that if you separate hydrogen from oxygen, it becomes fuel. The process of separation is costly, but my invention solves that problem. It is a secret that I can’t reveal. My invention makes sure you save up to 50% of fuel, makes a car’s engine last longer, is ecologically clean, safe and makes sure a driver saves oil and has clean oil. The car goes fast and smoothly. The device only operates with water, and a driver saves time and money. The raw material alone is expensive. The invention is ready, I have the license, and there are many people who are already interested. Unfortunately, most people can’t afford it. Although the invention is quite expensive, I am offering it at a price that is relatively low. I have installed it in my car and have been using it for the past fifteen years. The device only functions with water. The only thing that appears is steam after it is burned. It is ecologically clean. Whereas fuel is often not completely burnt in a car that runs with fuel and air is polluted, this device fully burns it. This exhibition sparked more interest among people. My mobile phone hasn’t stopped ringing. I thank all the organizers and the supporters of this exhibition.

I have many offers from abroad, but I want to stay in Armenia and produce more devices in my Homeland. I have been living in Armenia for the past three-and-a-half years. I had a large factory in Syria, but the war compelled me to leave everything behind and settle in Armenia. My father and brother are my family’s only breadwinners. I am married and have a seven-year-old daughter, who was born in Syria. We have all adapted to the new environment because we are not amongst foreigners.

Armenians are very talented and have created many inventions, but unfortunately, very often others ascribe their invention to themselves. Those days are over. Armenians today are not what they used to be. I am already thinking about another invention that is still a secret, and it is obvious that I don’t want to share it with anyone. I have a great desire to create a factory and jobs. We need to produce and export, not import others’ products or constantly seek help from others. Armenia needs to become so rich that it will be able to help other countries. We have that potential. We can grow and become one of the dominant countries in the global market. We can prevail and be demanding at the international level.”
