28th Iranian-Armenian Spring Games are dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Independence of Armenia and the Independence of Artsakh

At the initiative of the Ararat Armenian Sport and Cultural Union of New Djulfa, the grand opening of the 28th Iranian-Armenian Spring Games will be held at the Union’s gym on March 18 at 19:30, correspondent for Ararat Union Yeranoush Tahmazian reports to Hayern Aysor.
The 28th Iranian-Armenian Spring Games are dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Armenia and the Independence of Artsakh.
According to the established tradition, the symbolic torch will be lit during a special ceremony with the eternal flame of the monument eternalizing the memory of the holy martyrs of the Armenian Genocide that stands above the Holy Savior Monastery on the evening of Thursday, March 17, 2016.
Delegations of athletes representing the Armenian communities of Iran will be participating in the Games, which will end on March 23.
