NKR citizens to have free access to at least 8 TV channels and 3 radio stations
During its March 10 session, the Government of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic approved the action plan that is carried out at the expense of funds from the 2016 State Budget for the country’s economic development, reports aparaj.am, according to Hayern Aysor.
The government has approved the program and list that are part of the state order for purchase of services for the broadcasting of television and radio programs carried out at the expense of funds from the 2016 State Budget of the NKR. According to the program, the NKR will also hold another social event with government support, meaning the population will have free access to at least 8 television channels and 3 radio stations.
According to NKR Minister of Economy A. Khachatryan, the program is aimed at broadcasting the top television channels of the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation within the territories of Artsakh Republic and the Republic of Armenia.
To implement the program, AMDD 240 mln is envisaged in the 2016 State Budget.
