On February 29, RA Ambassador to Poland Edgar Ghazaryan participated in the regional economic forum held in Volomin, reports the RA MFA press service.

Among the participants were director of Volomin region Kazhimiezh Rakovsky, representatives of the region’s local authorities and several businessmen.

One of the issues on the agenda of the forum was related to Armenian-Polish trade and economic relations, as well as the perspectives for the development of business and economy in Armenia. In his speech devoted to the topic, Chairman of the Armenian-Polish Chamber of Commerce and Industry Machey Bohoseyevich provided general information about Armenia and particularly Armenian-Polish economic relations.

In his speech, Ambassador Ghazaryan talked about the opportunities for investments in Armenia. Ghazaryan also talked about the perspectives for making investments in Armenia and holding new positions in the regional markets following Armenia’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union and the lifting of international economic sanctions imposed on Iran. The Ambassador also expressed willingness to support all economic projects and initiatives connected with Armenia.
