РусскийUfa celebrated International Mother Language Day
On February 21, the Armenian community of Ufa led by A. Dalaryan and the local Armenian Sunday school organized an event dedicated to International Mother Language Day, reports the Armenian community of Ufa to Hayern Aysor.
In the beginning, the students sang songs and recited poems, after which the youth held a roundtable discussion entitled “Preserving the Diaspora with the Mother Language”. The youth talked about the significance of the Mother Language and, most importantly, the protection of the language. At the end, all the participants of the discussion were distributed calendars devoted to the topic.
