Istanbul-Armenian rock singer Hayko Cepkin releases new album

Istanbul-Armenian rock singer Hayko Cepkin has released a new album. According to Ermenihaber, the Turkish Habergri news website writes that the album titled “Songs That I Grew Up With” includes 9 songs that Cepkin performs in a new style. This is Cepkin’s fifth album following the releases of his previous albums titled “I Have To Be Calm”, “The Acquaintance Is Over”, “Suitcase” and “Suffering Of Love”.
Cepkin was born in 1978 in Denmark from where he and his family moved to Istanbul. He has sung in the choir of an Armenian church. Two years after graduating from the Getronagan (Central) Armenian High School, he took vocal courses for two years at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. He also received his musical education at the Academy of Istanbul.
