РусскийNew Year’s and Christmas event for children in Sofia
On January 9, the Armenian national center of Sofia hosted a New Year’s and Christmas event for children. The event began with a performance by the smallest members of the Nayiri Dance Ensemble, and this was the first performance for most of the children. The performance was followed by games hosted by the “Friend” Group.
Beloved singer Haikashot Aghasyan lifted the attendees’ spirits with his famous songs for children. The children answered his questions, as well as sang and danced with pleasure. According to tradition, Santa Claus and Snow Maiden came to visit. Santa Claus listened to the children as they sang and recited poems and distributed gifts. The event organized by the coordinating council of Armenian organizations of Sofia became an unforgettable event for the Armenian children.
