Tehran’s delegates visit the RA Ministry of Diaspora

On December 11, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received the delegation led by the director of the organization of the Municipality of Tehran for culture and the arts, Dr. Mahmud Salahi. Among the delegates were Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia Seyed Kazem Sadjadi, as well as politicians, economists and cultural affairs correspondents of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Republic of Armenia.
Greeting the guests, the minister attached importance to Iran’s undeniable contributions to the maintenance of peace in the region and praised the centuries-old friendship between Iran and Armenia. “We are grateful to the Iranian government for creating all the opportunities for the Armenians to not only live and grow, but to also be active in the country’s politics, economy, society and cultural life,” the minister particularly mentioned.
Dr. Mahmud Salahi expressed gratitude for the cordial reception and the effective dialogue.
The sides touched upon the perspectives for the development of tourism in Armenia, as well as the opportunities for the promotion of investments and the enlargement of cultural ties and discussed the perspectives for cooperation.
