Voting in referendum on constitutional reforms is over in Armenia

Voting in a referendum on constitutional reforms is over in Armenia. All polling stations are closed as of 20:00 PM. 1 million and 5 thousand and 333 people or 39.17% of citizens having the right to vote have participated in the Constitutional Reforms Referendum as of 17:00. At 21: 00 am Central Electoral Commission will announce the final data on the number of citizens who participated in the referendum.

As “Armenpress” reports, CEC will publish data of first results of the referendum at 00: 00 pm. The total number of the electors included in the Register of electors of the Republic of Armenia is 2.550.323. 16 thousand 856 people are included in the additional list of those registered in another community, temporality withdrawn from the list of voters according to the place of registration, according to the place of their location on the day of the referendum, 270 are voters who are not registered in Armenia and are included in the additional list of voters in the location of the Republic of Armenia nearby polling station on the referendum day, the number of policemen included in the additional list, who are assigned to the precincts, have been withdrawn from the voters’ list and who vote in the polling station of the referendum on the voting day are 140. 1.542 names are included in the additional list of voters participating in the voting in medical institutions providing inpatient treatment.

265 names of citizens, who are involved in diplomatic missions of the Republic of Armenia and their families having the right to vote, are in the list of electronic voting. 18 local and 6 international organizations will carry out observation missions with 3006 local and 123 international observers.
