Screening of film “The Cut” in Holland

On December 2, the “Unified Armenians in Holland” organization of Nijmegen and Lux Cinema of Nijmegen hosted the screening of German-Turkish director Fatih Akin’s film “The Cut”, reports member of the organization Sveta Abrahamyan to Hayern Aysor.
The hall was packed, and there were many foreigners in the audience. Before the screening, founder of the organization Gaiane Abrahamyan expressed her greetings and mentioned that the film screening was part of the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. Abrahamyan introduced the attendees to the Forget-Me-Not flower, which symbolizes the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide and talked about the significance of its petals and colors.
One of the purposes of the event was to organize the debate over the Armenian Genocide with Sina and Ara, who are the main characters in the Dutch documental soap opera “Blood-Related Brothers”.
The organizers presented the guests with Forget-Me-Not badges after the film screening.
