One should remember the past and learn from it: Czech Parliament Speaker on Armenian Genocide
. All world parliaments have great role in the struggle against genocides and terrorism. Concluding the results of meeting with Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic Mr. Jan Hamáček in the National Assembly, Armenian NA President emphasized that Armenians belong to nation who saw terrorism in form of genocide.
“We mostly feel the destructive consequences of the mentioned horrible crime, that is why those issues are always in the spotlight,” Sahakyan mentioned, as “Armenpress” reports. Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic Jan Hamáček shares the view that one should remember the past and learn from it.
“I am glad to mention that Czech high officials were present in various events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. Committee on Foreign Affairs of Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic unanimously adopted a resolution on the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. The mentioned resolution condemns the denial of genocides.
