IstanbulArmenian journalist testified in court on charge of insulting Erdoğan

Istanbul Armenian columnist Hayko Bağdat has been summoned to testify as part of an investigation launched against him on the charge of insulting Erdoğan. As “Armenpress” reports, “Agos” informs about the aforementioned.
Posting tweets on Monday night, Bağdat announced that he was called by the prosecutor to testify. Bağdat went to the İstanbul Courthouse on Tuesday to give his testimony before the prosecutor. Two investigations were launched against Bağdat for his thoughts expressed during one of the broadcasts of Bugün TV as well as for his statement over Erdoğan in Taraf newspaper. Turkish President Erdoğan filed a complaint against IstanbulArmenian journalist based on which Hayko Bağdat stood in front of Çağlayan Justice Palace on December 1.
