Participant of “Future” Pan-Armenian Youth Forum: “I’m happy that we young Armenians were given the opportunity to work effectively”
From November 27 to 29, the RA Ministry of Diaspora, the Union of Armenians of Russia, the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and the “Imast” (Meaning) Armenian Youth Association of Nizhni Novgorod held the 2nd Pan-Armenian Youth Forum entitled “Future” in Yerevan.
Member of Georgia’s International Association of Participants of the Pan-Armenian Games and Other Forums Gyulnara Rushanyan shared her impressions of the forum in an interview with Hayern Aysor.
Gyulnara Rushanyan: I’m happy that I had the opportunity to participate in this forum, for which I would like to thank Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan, President of the “Imast” (Meaning) Armenian Youth Association of Nizhni Novgorod, the very smart and active Ani Mkhitaryan and all the organizers. I’m happy that we young Armenians were given the opportunity to work effectively, listen to experts’ opinions, as well as exchange our views and ideas.
Of course, it’s important that we gather in our Mother Homeland. Our consolidation in Armenia binds each of us to do as much as we can to help Armenia and increase our country’s reputation in our respective countries of residence.
By coming together, we start carrying out various programs and projects that help bring together young Armenians living in different countries around the world, and the results will soon be visible.
The “Future” Pan-Armenian Youth Forum provided me with the opportunity to discuss and share my ideas with my peers and establish contacts with youth who have different views and who live outside of Armenia.
The forum was helpful in that it helped us discuss issues related to Armenia’s reputation and what can become Armenia’s “business card”. We also discussed issues related to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide.
The forum was very fruitful. Each of us specified his or her actions.
