Russia has already taken 6 steps against Turkey-Turkish newspaper’s reflection on the sanctions and Genocide resolution

In the wake of the downing of the Russian Su-24 jet near the Turkish-Syrian border, Turkish presses continue to write and discuss the steps that Russia might take and the sanctions that it might apply against Turkey.
The Turkish Milliyet has reflected on the 6 steps that Russia has already taken, including a discussion on a resolution on Armenian Genocide recognition.

“Russia has taken 6 steps so far. Experts say Russia will cause blows from the side, not directly.
Russia took the 6th step against Turkey today by tightening control over Turkish products.
And so:
1. Call to not travel to Turkey
Russia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov cancelled his visit to Turkey and urged citizens of Russia not to visit Turkey. Lavrov mentioned that Turkey is not a safe country for Russian nationals. President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin issued a similar statement.
2. Sending more C-300 systems to the region
After the downing of the Russian jet, ships transporting C-300 missiles approached the area near Syria. Besides, it was announced that Russia will be sending C-400 and C-300 missiles to the aerial base located in Syria.
3. More aerial operations on the border
The Kremlin announced that aerial operations would continue on the border. Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergey Shoygu mentioned that the bombers carrying out operations in that area would also have planes that can open fire in the air.
4. Resolution on Armenian Genocide in parliament
Russian Members of Parliament submitted to the Parliament a draft law to criminalize those who don’t consider the events of 1915 as the Armenian Genocide. Russian oppositionist Alexey Navalny mentioned that the bill criminalizing denial would cause harm to Turkey.
5. Ban on imports of poultry
Starting from December 1, Russia will ban the imports of poultry from Turkey.
6. The Russian government decided to tighten control over Turkish products.
