On November 15, the Chinese Committee on International Friendship and Cultural Festivals hosted an exhibition of the national costumes of different countries in Beijing, reports the RA Embassy in China to Hayern Aysor.

Among the main participants of the already traditional event were representatives of the Silk Road countries. Armenian national costumes were also showcased with the support of the RA Embassy in China.

The goal of the event entitled “Friendship of Nations” was to introduce the audience to the culture, customs and traditions of different countries.

Among the guests were RA Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China Armen Sargsyan, top officials of the Ministry of Culture of the People’s Republic of China, heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Beijing, diplomats, representatives of China’s cultural circles and the country’s leading mass media outlets.

The national costumes, which form a part of Armenian history and culture, were presented by Arpine and Armen Deroyan, who also performed a beautiful Armenian dance.

The event, which was held in a warm atmosphere of vivid national costumes, songs and music, contributed to the friendship and solidarity between nations.
