The RA Ministry of Diaspora, with the support of Yerevan Municipality, has covered expenses to make sure land parcels are allocated to Syrian-Armenians having settled in Yerevan due to the Syrian war at the cemetery of Nubarashen in Yerevan so that they can bury the deceased there. This is what Chief of Staff of the RA Ministry of Diaspora and Chairman of the Inter-Agency Commission on Coordination of Syrian-Armenians’ Issues Firdus Zakaryan said in an interview with Hayern Aysor.

Zakaryan added that, in addition to allocation of land parcels, the administration of the particular administrative district of Yerevan where the deceased lived will provide funding for several funeral services.
