The terrorist acts in Paris can be considered a symbolic challenge: French-Armenian figure

The series of terrorist acts that have taken place in Paris over the past several decades are unprecedented in the history of the Republic of France. Evidence of that is the fact that the terrorist acts have taken the lives of nearly 150 people. The government has declared a state of emergency in the country, and the crowded streets of Paris where the terrorist acts took place are empty. This is what Chairman of the Coordinating Council of Armenian Organizations of France (CCAF) Mourad Papazian said in an interview with NEWS.am.

According to him, the terrorist acts can be considered a symbolic challenge since they have taken place during all nation-wide events and at the venues of those events.

Mourad Papazian says all of the country’s force structures are operating under a special regime.

Papazian says there is still no information about any Armenians who have been killed or taken hostage during the terrorist acts that have taken place in Paris.

Let us mention that terrorist acts have been recorded in seven different areas of Paris. Based on the latest statistics, there are at least 150 victims and dozens of injured people. ISIS has taken responsibility for the terrorist acts.
