13 countries to participate in international negotiations over Syrian issue
Representatives of Iraq and Lebanon will also take part in the meeting devoted to the Syrian issue in Vienna tomorrow, reports official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Maria Zakharova.
“During the second half of the day, Lavrov will leave for Vienna to participate in the multilateral meeting devoted to the settlement of the Syrian crisis along with representatives of Iraq, Iran, Egypt, Lebanon and other countries, as well as UN Special Envoy Stefan de Mistura on Friday,” said Zakharova, reports TASS Agency, according to armradio.am.
Earlier, it was announced that Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif was also going to be participating in the meeting in Vienna. Overall, representatives of 13 countries and Head of the EU Delegation Federica Moguerini will be participating in the meeting devoted to the Syrian issue.
