Newly built Holy Cross Church consecrated in Mets Aragyal village

On October 12-13, Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Georgia, Father Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan consecrated and opened the newly built Holy Cross Church in the Mets Aragyal village of the Municipality of Ninotsminda. Among those attending the opening ceremony were guests from foreign countries, neighboring regions and fellow villagers living in different countries around the world. Construction of the Holy Cross Church was launched last summer by benefactors Artur and Aida Isoyan. A year after construction, the Javakhk region now has an architectural structure that it didn’t have before, reports Akhaltskha.Net, according to Hayern Aysor.
The opening and consecration of the church was followed by a concert, which was held under the sponsorship of the benefactors at the cultural center of Ninotsminda and featured performances by Armenia’s Sayat-Nova Folk Ensemble led by Tovmas Poghosyan, as well as Arsen Grigoryan, Troubadour Leyli and others.
