On September 21, an Armenian Sunday school opened its doors in the Yaroslavl city of the Russian Federation. The school was built through the efforts of the local Armenian community, reports Hayern Aysor, according to gtk.tv.

Construction was launched two years ago. The school is designed for 60 students, and its professional teachers will teach Armenian language, history and culture.

The Armenian Sunday school is open to everyone, regardless of age, faith and national belonging.

“We had been waiting for this event for a long time. It is very important for the community. Through the efforts of our community and devoted individuals, we managed to create a cozy corner where Armenian will be taught to those who wish to learn the language,” leader of the “Nairi” Armenian community of Yaroslavl region Vahagn Khachatryan mentioned.
