Armenian Genocide Centennial: Concert under auspices of Charles Aznavour to be held in Geneva

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, Swiss-Armenian Cultural Association “Avetis” is organizing a concert in Victoria Hall of Geneva on October 10.
The concert will be held under the auspices of Armenia’s Ambassador to Switzerland Charles Aznavour, French-Armenian magazine Nouvelles d’Arménie writes.
The concert program includes “The Four Seasons,” “Stabat Mater,” “Viola Concerto” and arias from Antonio Vivaldi’s opera, written to Armenian theme (“Tigran,” “Rozmira Fedele”).
These works will be performed by the Chamber Orchestra of Neuchâtel under Sergey Ostrovski, with the participation of Chouchane Siranossian (violin), Astrig Siranossian (cello) and Varduhi Khachatryan (mezzo-soprano).
