Though the flows into Western Armenia, which is currently located in the territory of modern Turkey, have decreased due to the tense situation in the country, still Armenian travel agencies continue organizing tours.

“Armenpress” interviewed 3 Armenian travel agencies to find out how the latter organize tours to territories which have been epicenters for military operations for over 2 months. “Ani Tour” travel agency informed that they organize tours to Western Armenia according to the situation. They consult with their local colleagues and realize the tours if the later say everything is normal.

The representative of “Akhtamar Tour” informed that the tense situation of Turkey impacts tourist flows, nevertheless, tours are still being organized. The representative added that if there are problems connected with the roads, they try to bypass them. However, “Narekavank Tour” informed that no tours are being organized as there’s no demand.
