Another bonfire was lit at “Ari Tun” Camp in Tsaghkadzor
The solemn closing ceremony of the 6th stage of the “Ari Tun” Program of the RA Ministry of Diaspora was held at the “Ari Tun” Camp in Tsaghkadzor on August 14 and was attended by RA Deputy Minister of Diaspora Serzh Srapionyan, as well as guests and employees of the RA Ministry of Diaspora.
RA Deputy Minister of Diaspora Serzh Srapionyan transmitted the welcoming remarks of RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan and particularly mentioned the following: “Dear youth, I am certain that the past 14 days were very interesting and meaningful for you. During the past two weeks, you had the opportunity to learn more about the history of Armenia, to go sightseeing and to become more familiar with Armenian culture and traditions. I hope you will miss your homeland and return. We will always be waiting for you. I want you to preserve your national identity, remember what happened 100 years ago and state your claims wherever you may be in this world. It was good that you came to the Homeland.”
The participants of the “Ari Tun” Program gave beautiful performances of Armenian songs and dances that they had rehearsed during their days at the camp. Singer Anahit Sahakyan and members of the Alashkert National Song and Dance Ensemble of Gegharkunik province greeted the participants with their performances.
The 6th stage of the “Ari Tun” Program ended with the traditional farewell bonfire.
Let us mention that the sixth stage of the program was held with the participation of 197 young Armenians from 17 countries, including Russia, Ukraine, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Great Britain, Portugal, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Germany, France, the USA, Argentina, Syria, Lebanon, Iran and Turkey.
