Armenian Genocide Centennial exhibition to be opened in Samara

An exhibition dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide with the title “Unsilenceable Belfry” will be opened at the gallery in the Russian city of Samara on July 23, reports vninform.ru, according to armeniangenocide100.org.
The exhibition is dedicated to the tragedy and was named in honor of Paruyr Sevak’s poem “Unsilenceable Belfry”. It will present the tragic fate of Armenian musician and scholar Komitas who underwent the sufferings of the genocide.
The “Unsilenceable Belfry” exhibition is a tribute to the victims of the Armenian Genocide. The painters express their heartfelt attitude towards the tragic events and show how they’re related to Armenian culture.
The exhibition will run until August 6.
