On the morning of April 16, young Armenians of Tehran held a protest in front of the UN House in Tehran with the demand for recognition of the Armenian Genocide, writes hyeli.com.

With signs and banners reading “#Recognize Armenian Genocide” in Persian and English, the youth urged the organization to recognize the Armenian Genocide.

At the end, the participants submitted to the representative of the UN House in Tehran a letter stating their demands.

While the news was being released, we were informed that the Youth Office of the Bureau had assigned the members of youth and student associations of all countries to hold protests in front of the embassies, the UN Houses and offices of the Council of Europe in different countries every Thursday of March and April.
