Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan spoke at Chatham House

On July 8, President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan gave a speech at the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House).

As reports the Central Information Department of the Staff of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic President, the head of state touched upon nation-building in Artsakh, Artsakh’s domestic and foreign policies, the settlement of the Azerbaijan-Karabakh conflict and processes taking place in the region and answered the questions that were raised.

In his speech, President Sahakyan mentioned that Chatham House’s mission “to help build a sustainably secure, prosperous and just world” is close to the hearts of the people of Artsakh and added that this is how the people view the world. According to the President, such meetings are helpful for Artsakh, as well as for various countries and international organizations.

Foreign diplomats, as well as scholars and analysts were also attending the meeting.
