Australian-Armenians raised $50,000 dollars during a fundraiser to help Syrian-Armenians.

According to the Australian-Armenians’ Armenia Online media outlet, writes Artsakhpress, the fundraiser was organized on June 22. During the first week, the Armenians of Australia helped raise $26,000 Australian dollars, after which they raised a total of $40,000 Australian dollars during the concert that wrapped up the fundraiser. Interestingly, there were only 120 Armenians attending the concert, and Armenian businessmen added $10,000 Australian dollars.

 The funds will help provide assistance to the Syrian-Armenians and especially the Armenians of Aleppo, who are facing serious difficulties in terms of safety and living conditions.
