According to the Turkish SkyTv website, Mehmed Ali Aslan, who is a deputy elected by the Kurdish People’s Democratic Party (HDP), has announced that he was referred to as the grandson of an Armenian when he referred to the Turkish nation as nations of Turkey when taking his oath. He emphasized that people had tried to humiliate him and the Armenians with those words, writes Artsakhpress.
“I’m not related to any Armenian, but if I did, I would be proud of that,” Mehmed Ali Aslan said.
