By the order of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, President of the Union of Armenians of Russia Ara Abrahamyan has been appointed head of the newly created committee of the council in charge of providing informational support for implementation of the country’s national policy adjunct to the President of the Russian Federation for inter-ethnic relations.
According to Russia-armenia.info, the activities of the newly created committee will help raise the level of efficiency of the country’s national policy on inter-ethnic relations.
By an assignment of Vladimir Putin, Abrahamyan has been appointed member of the task force in charge of coordinating the events dedicated to Russia Day and the Day of National Unity. First Deputy Chief of Staff of the President of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin has been appointed head of the task force.
