Armenian Genocide film Journey to Amasia to be shown at Capitol Hill

Co-Chair of the Armenian Caucus of the U.S. Congress Michael Grim is organizing the premiere of Eric Khachikian’s and Randy Bell’s film Journey to Amasia at Capitol Hill, reports the Armenian National Committee of America.

The film is about Khachikian’s grandmother Helen Shushan, how she survived the Armenian Genocide, as well as the devastating consequences of the Armenian Genocide and Turkey’s current policy on that.

The film screening will be held on July 24th and will be followed by a discussion with the film’s creators.

The film Journey to Amasia is a sentimental film that presents the great tragedy and the great courage of the Armenian people, who remain courageous to this day. “As a Co-Chair of the Armenian Caucus, I commend that film and am proud to organize the screening of that film,” said Member of the U.S. House of Representatives Michael Grim.
