Armenian American writer and bibliographer Hovsep Nalbandian hosted at the RA Ministry of Diaspora

On May 14, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received Armenian American writer and bibliographer Hovsep Nalbandian, who is in Armenia to present his two bibliographical books entitled “Trails of Life” and “Armenian Literature in America (1857-2015)”.

Hovsep Nalbandian informed the minister that those were his 13th and 14th books, respectively and were dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide. Nalbandian also said that the “Armenian Literature in America” bibliography is the modified version of the previously released  book entitled “History of Armenian American Literature” and contains information about 3,046 books written by 1,127 U.S.-based Armenian writers.

Minister Hranush Hakobyan congratulated the writer and bibliographer on the release of his new books and attached special importance to the book “Armenian Literature in America (1857-2015), which may serve as a source for researchers in the future.

Afterwards, the sides discussed social, cultural, literary, educational and other issues facing the Armenian community of California.
