“Holy Martyrs” icon to be exhibited at the museum of Ruben Sevak

The “Holy Martyrs” icon, which was created by Tigran Barkhanajyan on the occasion of the Canonization of the martyrs of the Armenian Genocide, will be exhibited at the museum of Ruben Sevak as part of the Night of Museums program, as posted on the Facebook page of Night of Museums at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.

The Night of Museums-2015 action will be held on May 16. All 110 museums of Armenia will join the action, allowing free entrance and staying open until midnight.

On this occasion, the depository-museum of the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin and the museum of Ruben Sevak will be open at the Mother See.

Those visiting the museum of Ruben Sevak will listen to a lecture on “The Assembling of Historical and Cultural Values at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin During the Armenian Genocide” by Director of Museums and Archives of the Mother See, Father, Priest Asoghik Karapetyan and will hear performances by organ player Teresa Voskanyan at the Mother Cathedral.
