The assembly of Arab political parties has issued a statement condemning the Armenian Genocide, reports www.aztagarabic.com, citing Altaura newspaper, according to Hayern Aysor.

The letter addressed to member of the ARF-D Central Committee Hagop Pagradouni particularly reads as follows:

 “The Armenian Genocide, which was perpetrated by Turkey against the Armenian people and took the lives of more than 1 million Armenians, was an act of annihilation that is a shame of mankind and marked the beginning of state terrorism in modern history.

The assembly condemns this slaughter and expresses its support to your political party and its members.”

The assembly’s general secretary Kasim Salih has demanded filing a lawsuit against the representatives of the Turkish government in the international court.
