Diaspora Ministry hosts presentation of book “The Bible for a Young Family”

On November 14, the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia hosted the presentation of the book “The Bible for a Young Family”, which will be distributed to Syrian-Armenian families in Armenia. Among the attendees of the presentation were authors of the book’s Armenian version (General Secretary of the Bible Society of the Arab Gulf, Dr. Hrayr Jebejian and Dr. Arda Jebejian), as well as representative of the Armenian Missionary Association of America in Armenia Harout Nersessian, representatives of the organization in Armenia, President of the Center for Coordination of Syrian-Armenians’ Issues NGO George Barseghian, as well as Syrian-Armenian families and guests.
Greeting the attendees, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan attached importance to the release of the book and particularly stated the following: “I am glad that the Association is active in Armenia. I am certain that the book “The Bible for a Young Family” will serve as a major resource for providing Armenian children with a Christian upbringing.”
RA Deputy Minister of Diaspora Serzh Srapionyan; founder of the “Diaspora” Scientific-Educational Center at the Armenian State Pedagogical University, Doctor of Philological Sciences, professor and literary critic Suren Danielyan; representative of the Armenian Missionary Association of America in Armenia Harout Nersessian; President of the Center for Coordination of Syrian-Armenians’ Issues NGO George Barseghian and Pastor of the AMAA in Yerevan Hovik Hovsepyan shared their observations and appreciated the book in their speeches.
Hrayr Jebejian talked about the creation and goals of the book, expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Diaspora and the Association for the support and stated that the book “The Bible for a Young Family” has already been distributed to Armenian families of Lebanon and will soon be distributed in Aleppo. “I am grateful for the fact that I managed to deliver a batch of the books to Armenia in order to distribute them to Syrian-Armenian families,” he added.
