On November 6, Minister of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia Hranush Hakobyan chaired a consultation at the RA Ministry of Diaspora. Among the participants were Deputy Ministers Serzh Srapionyan and Vahagn Melikyan, Chief of Staff Firdus Zakaryan and the heads of departments and divisions of the Ministry.

The heads of the departments and divisions delivered reports on the events and activities carried out throughout the week, pinpointed the future actions and made new proposals.

The Minister attached importance to the development and finalization of the concept paper on the Armenia-Diaspora partnership and the strategies on preservation and development of the Western Armenian language and on the organizing of repatriation, as well as the preparation of annual reports.

The Minister gave assignments, set a timetable and indicated the correspondents and coordinators.
