Lecturers and professors of Armenia’s top universities visit Lebanon

From April 25 to 28, lecturers and professors of the top universities of the Republic of Armenia paid a visit to Lebanon. The visit was organized and sponsored by the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Lebanon. As reported diplomatic attaché of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Lebanon Vladimir Poghosyan to Hayern Aysor, during the visit, the lecturers and professors had four meetings with the pupils, teachers and directors of 14 Armenian schools and colleges. Overall, 500-600 10th, 11th and 12th graders participated in the meetings. The purpose of the visit was to provide the Lebanese-Armenian pupils with comprehensive information and encourage them to study at universities in the Republic of Armenia.
On April 25 at 14:00, the specialists met with the pupils of nearly 100 relevant classrooms of the two schools of the Armenian Apostolic Community and the Armenian Evangelical Community in Anjar.
On April 26 at 11:00, the specialists had a meeting with 250 pupils of the four Armenian Apostolic Schools and Armenian National College, the Sahagian-Levonian School and the Darouhi-Hovakimian School at Erjo Samuelian Hall of the Saint Vardanants Church of the Armenian Diocese of Lebanon.
On April 27 at 11:00, nearly 150 pupils of the three Armenian Catholic Schools had a meeting with the specialists at the Mesropian Armenian Catholic High Arts School.
On April 27 at 13:00, the lecturers and professors had a meeting with 80-90 pupils of the two Armenian Evangelical Schools at Chamlian Armenian Evangelical College.
During the visit to Lebanon, the specialists also managed to achieve the major goal of the program, that is, to establish direct and personal ties between the lecturers and professors of Armenia’s universities and the directors of Armenian schools based in Lebanon. The relations will be ongoing and will further facilitate cooperation in the future.
