Modern Armenian films to be presented at Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival
Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival kicked off on November 15 and will end on December 5. This year,
The 17th
the festival will include screenings of nearly 600 full-length, animated, documentary and short feature films.
This year the major international competition will be held with the title “Eurasia”. Serje Avetikian’s and
Olena Fetisova’s film Parajanov is also included in that category. Maria Sahakyan’s award-winning film
That’s Not Me will also be shown during the festival.
Director of the Golden Apricot Yerevan International Film Festival, film director Harutyun Khachatryan is
one of the members of the jury for the “Eurasia” international competition.
Seventeen films by young Armenian film directors will be shown through the special program of the Tallinn
Black Nights Film Festival from November 21 to 26. The films whose production has begun since 2000 were
selected.
