Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Karen Karapetyan has sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of the 25^th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Armenia. According to the Department of Public Relations of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, the message of the Prime Minister reads as follows:

“Dear compatriots,

Today we are celebrating the most important holiday of our homeland. It is a holiday that symbolizes the centuries-old will and goal of our nation to live freely and independently.

During the months preceding the 25^th anniversary of Independence, our country had its share of serious challenges that our nation overcame with the dignity that is characteristic of the nation.

Today, congratulating all of us, as head of the government of Armenia, I first and foremost bow in memory of the heroes who fought for independence and shaped the 25-year history of independence. We are now a state that has stood the test of history and have enough will and potential to resist all trials and tribulations together. We have the commitment to reinforce the values of our independent state through creative efforts.

Congratulating everyone on the 25^th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Armenia once again, I wish all of us peace, progress and more success.”
