РусскийAnti-Armenian Turkish MP: “There is no Kurdish issue in Turkey, but there is an Armenian issue”
During parliamentary discussions, Deputy of Turkey’s ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) Faruk Caturoglu touched upon the Kurdish issue and made an anti-Armenian statement.
Caturoglu declared that the Armenians betrayed the Ottoman Empire and backstabbed it.
“There is no Kurdish issue in Turkey, but there is an Armenian issue.”
As reports ermenihaber.am, the Turkish aktifhaber.com, which cites Caturoglu’s anti-Armenian statements, writes the following: “It’s interesting to see how Armenian deputy and member of the AKP Markar Yesayan and honorary adviser to Prime Minister Davutoglu and correspondent for the pro-government Aksam newspaper Etyen Mahcupyan will react to the statement by deputy and member of the AKP Caturoglu.”
