Getting to Know the Neighboring Country

“We represent two ancient countries which live side by side in cultural and religious harmony. This could serve as an appropriate model of how two neighboring nations practicing different religions can live in peace”, the representative of the Iranian-Armenian community, writer and cartographer Ruben Galichian said to the panorama.am during the press conference.

“Armenians are considered a high profile people in Iran unlike Persians in Armenia. We have to work toward keeping the balance by improving ourselves”, he noted.

Ruben Galiցhian highlighted the fact that Armenian products are very demandable in Iran.

During the press conference, Ara Karapetian, Iranian-Armenian geologist, said, “The economic cooperation between Armenia and Iran cannot move forward unless our framework legislation coincides with that of Armenia.”

Finally he reminded that the Iranian-Armenian community has two representatives in the Parliament.
