If U.S condemns Armenian Genocide, let it also condemn Britain

“If the U.S. condemns the Armenian Genocide, let it [also] categorically condemn Britain for the genocide in India. After this, ordinary Indians must demand apologies and reparations. Many Indians remember that Holocaust and fell victim to it,” Rakesh Krishnan Simha said, Srbija Danas reports, citing “Sputnik” news agency.

In 1942, India’s Bengal region had rich grain yield, but the British took it out to their country, leaving many regions of India and Bangladesh in hunger. The British used this “scorched-earth” tactics being afraid of the Japanese invasion, this policy costing the lives of 3 million Indians.
