РусскийRA Ambassador to Lebanon visits leader of the Greek Catholic Community of Zahle and Bekaa
Armenia’s Ambassador to Lebanon Ashot Kocharyan visited leader of the Greek Catholic Community of Zahle and Bekaa, Bishop Isam Euhanna Taruis. According to Aztag Daily, the Ambassador was accompnanied by businessman Nicola Abu Faysal from Zahle.
During the meeting, the sides discussed bilateral relations and the strengthening of those relations over the past years. Ambassador Kocharyan praised Lebanon’s investments in Armenia, particularly Nicola Abu Faysal’s successful investment projects through which Bishop Taruis recently visited Armenia.
In his turn, Bishop Taruis welcomed Ambassador Kocharyan and said he was pleased with his visit to Armenia and his acquaintance with the people. He also urged all Lebanese to make investments in Armenia and strengthen Armenian-Lebanese relations.
