Hovik Abrahamyan talked about the catastrophic situation of the Aleppo-Armenians
The Armenian government is ready to receive and create necessary conditions for children moving from Aleppo to Armenia.
This is what Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan announced during a government session.
“I would like to talk about Armenia’s friendly country, Syria where the war continues, taking many lives and causing destruction. Unfortunately, there are many peaceful civilians who have died. In this period, Armenia has tried to provide assistance to those who have left their homes and have come to Armenia due to security considerations.
A couple of days ago, with the help of the media, I had responded to the bombing that took place in the Suleymanieh District of Aleppo. Unfortunately, Armenians died during the bombing. We sounded the alarm about removing children and schoolchildren from the war zone, and I mentioned that the government is ready to create the necessary conditions for children moving from Aleppo to Armenia,” the Prime Minister said and added that he would like everyone to be aware of that. The head of government mentioned that when RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan returned to Armenia, she would provide government officials with details of the steps that the Ministry of Diaspora is taking, what problems it has to solve and the assistance that it needs during the next government session.
