The first sporting event was held at three fields of the multifunctional sports square built as part of the European CIUDAD/GOSPEL Program.

The basketball players of “Pyunik” Union for the Disabled participated in the games, while students of primary school N 52 of Yerevan competed in the soccer and volleyball tournaments.

Head of the Division for Sport and Youth Affairs at Yerevan Municipality Yura Mamikonyan mentioned that the sports square will be included in the municipality’s list of venues for holding different sporting events.
