The facts of the Armenian Genocide are now available in the form of maps. As “Armenpress” reports, ahead of the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide, the “Geodesy and Cartography” SNCO has published 11 themebased maps by the proposal of the State Committee of the Real Estate Cadastre adjunct to the Government of the Republic of Armenia.
During the presentation of the maps, Head of the State Committee of the Real Estate Cadastre adjunct to the Government of the Republic of Armenia Martin Sargsyan emphasized that these maps are a great achievement in historicocartographic thinking and are of political significance. The facts of the Armenian Genocide are presented on the maps of the vilayets of Erzerum, Bitlis, Kharberd, Van, Sebastia, Kars and Adana of Western Armenia.
