Armenian is one of the world’s top ten weirdest languages

Armenian has been included in the world’s top ten weirdest languages. The first weirdest language is Chalcatongo Mixtec spoken by 6,000 people in Oaxaca, Mexico.

Researcher Tyler Schnoebelen and the researchers at Idibon, a natural language processing company used the World Atlas of Language Structures and coded the languages for 21 characteristics.

The second weirdest language is Nenets spoken in Siberia, followed by Choctaw, which is one of the languages of those living in America.

Nevertheless, some of the weirdest languages are very common. Armenian (Eastern) is in 9th place, followed by German. English is in 33rd place.
