During an April 11 special session, the Government of the Republic of Armenia adopted a decision on declaring 23-26 April as non-working days in Armenia.

The decision of the Government reads as follows:

“Accepting as a basis Article 19 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia “On Holidays and Days of Remembrance of the Republic of Armenia”, the Government of the Republic of Armenia decides:

To move the working day of Thursday, April 23, 2015 to Saturday, April 18, 2015.

The adoption of the decision is due to the conduct of canonization of the martyrs of the Armenian Genocide on 23 April 2015 on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Armenian Genocide.

This decision shall enter into force on the day following its official promulgation”.
