On April 10, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received board members of the Musaler Compatriotic Union under the leadership of board chairman Pertch Gharibyan.

 Gharibyan introduced the minister to the program of events dedicated to the 100^th anniversary of the Battle of Musa Dagh.

 Armenia traditionally celebrates the anniversary of the Battle of Musa Dagh in September. However, this year the anniversary will be celebrated with splendor and with several kinds of events that will be held with the participation of more than 300 Armenians of Musa Dagh and guests from different countries around the world. There will also be a large delegation from the Lebanese town of Anjar, which is mainly populated by the Armenians of Musa Dagh.

Viewing the Battle of Musa Dagh as the manifestation of the courage, unity, inviolable will and heroic spirit of the Armenian nation, the minister expressed willingness to provide wide support to organize and properly hold the event dedicated to the anniversary of the Battle of Musa Dagh.
