RA Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received Canadian-Armenian Citizenship Judge Aris Babikian, as the press service of the Government of the Republic of Armenia reports.

The interlocutors attached importance to the strengthening and deepening of Armenia-Diaspora relations and the implementation of various joint programs in that context. The sides also touched upon the activities of the Canadian-Armenian community, which plays a huge role and is actively involved in different spheres of public and political life.

During the meeting, the interlocutors also attached importance to the preservation of the Armenian identity and touched upon the events dedicated to the Armenian Genocide Centennial.
